"Underneath Your Clothes" by Shakira is sometimes given in online track listings but does not feature in the end - instead "Whenever, Wherever" features ( Hits 52 previously featured this song in Spanish language). [1]

Catherine Roseanne Dennis is a British singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. She was the vocalist for D Mob, which had the successful hit single "C'mon and Get My Love". Go Your Own Way is the second studio album to have been released by British singer-songwriter and former Pop Idol runner-up, Gareth Gates. The album is essence split into two sections, with tracks one to ten representing "Night", and tracks eleven to nineteen "Day". In some regions, such as the United Kingdom and Europe, the two regions are split across in two discs; in other regions, the entire album is contained on one disc. The album is Gates' last release on the Sony BMG record label, as sales of Go Your Own Way were much lower than his first studio album, What My Heart Wants to Say, resulting in his record deal being terminated. Three singles were released from the album: "Spirit in the Sky", "Sunshine" and "Say It Isn't So".

It contains 40 tracks spread over two CDs, including five number one singles from Christina Aguilera, Gareth Gates, Darius Danesh, DJ Sammy, and Elvis Presley vs. JXL The album was the first in the Hits series to contain the subtitle 40 Massive Chart Hits, although was not the first Hits album to contain 40 tracks.

Pop Idol was a British television talent show that ran for two series, in 2001 and 2003. The show was produced for ITV in a reality television format and aimed to unearth a previously undiscovered singer who could become an international success. Will Young was the winner of the first series and was awarded with a £1 million music recording contract. Young became the most successful contestant with a series of top-five hits, including his debut single "Anything Is Possible" / "Evergreen", which peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart in 2002 and broke chart sales figure records. During the next seven years he recorded two further number-one singles, while two of his four albums were number-one in the UK Albums Chart. In the second series, Michelle McManus emerged victorious. Her debut single "All This Time" charted at number one in January 2003. Her second single, "The Meaning of Love", charted at a peak of number 16 and an album of the same name reached number three in the UK Albums Chart.
