Homeland (Bosnian: Domovina) was an electoral alliance in Republika Srpska, one of two entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, forming a joint parliamentary group in the National Assembly.
The alliance consisted of the Party of Democratic Action, the Union for a Better Future, the Croatian Party of Rights, the Democratic Front, the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Diaspora Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Posavina Party.
Consisting of the Party of Democratic Action, the Union for a Better Future, the Croatian Party of Rights, the Democratic Front, the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Diaspora Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Posavina Party, the alliance was formed to contest the 2014 general election in Republika Srpska. In the general election, the alliance received 5.22% of the vote, winning five seats in the National Assembly. [2]

The politics of Bosnia and Herzegovina are defined by a parliamentary, representative democratic framework, where the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, named by the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is the head of government. Executive power is exercised by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Legislative power is vested in both the Council of Ministers and the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Members of the Parliamentary Assembly are chosen according to a proportional representation system. The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature.

The Posavina Canton is one of ten cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the smallest canton with an area of only 330.85 km2 (128 sq mi). The canton is an exclave of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, being bordered by Republika Srpska and Brčko District to the south and the river Sava and Croatia to the north. The Croatian Party of Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an extra-parliamentary party in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The party was established in 2004 as a splinter of the Croatian Party of Rights established in 1991, under the name Croatian Party of Rights Đapić-dr. Jurišić, named after its founders Anto Đapić and Zvonko Jurišić. In 2010, the main party dissolved, while the Croatian Party of Rights Đapić-dr. Jurišić usurped their name.
The House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the two chambers of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the other being the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The chamber consists of 42 members which are elected by party-list proportional representation. 28 members are elected from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 14 from Republika Srpska. Members serve for terms of four years. The current membership of the chamber was elected on 2 October 2022.
