The Hong Kong Museum of Education (HKME) is a museum in Tai Po,New Territories,Hong Kong. The museum focuses on the history and development of education in the territory. The museum is located within the campus of the Education University of Hong Kong. [1]
The museum displays artifacts and material related to education and its history,which includes booklets,bulletins,certificates,photos,teaching tools,etc.
The museum was established on 15 May 2009. [2]
The museum is accessible by bus from Tai Po Market station of MTR.

Sha Tin District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. As one of the 9 districts located in the New Territories,it covers the areas of Sha Tin,Tai Wai,Ma On Shan,Fo Tan,Siu Lek Yuen,Kwun Yam Shan and Ma Liu Shui. The district is the most populous district in Hong Kong,with a population of 659,794 as per 2016 by-census,having a larger population than many states or dependencies including Iceland,Malta,Montenegro and Brunei.
Sai Kung District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. The district comprises the southern half of the Sai Kung Peninsula,the Clear Water Bay Peninsula in the New Territories and a strip of land to the east of Kowloon. Hong Kong Heritage Museum is a public museum of history,art and culture in Sha Tin,Hong Kong,located beside the Shing Mun River. The museum opened on 16 December 2000. It is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The six permanent exhibits and the original temporary exhibits were designed by design firm Reich+Petch along with Lord Cultural Resources.

Tai Po Market is an MTR station on the East Rail line in the New Territories,Hong Kong. Located between Flagstaff Hill and Wan Tau Tong Estate in Tai Po,and adjacent to the eponymous market town,the station has three tracks and four platforms. Platform 1 is for northbound trains to border crossing stations at Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau and platform 4 is for southbound trains to Admiralty,Kowloon while platforms 2 and 3 use the same track and is reserved for peak hour traffic.
The Hong Kong Railway Museum is a railway museum in Tai Po,Hong Kong. It is now under the management of the Leisure and Cultural Service Department. Opened on 20 December 1985,it is located at the site where the old Tai Po Market railway station was built in 1913. Admission to the museum is free.
Sha Tin,also spelt Shatin,is a neighbourhood along Shing Mun River in the eastern New Territories,Hong Kong. Administratively,it is part of the Sha Tin District. Sha Tin is one of the neighbourhoods of the Sha Tin New Town project.
Tai Po is an area in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It refers to the vicinity of the traditional market towns in the area presently known as Tai Po Old Market or Tai Po Kau Hui (大埔舊墟) on the north of Lam Tsuen River and the Tai Po Hui on Fu Shin Street on the south of the Lam Tsuen River,near the old Tai Po Market railway station of the Kowloon-Canton Railway. Both market towns became part of the Tai Po New Town in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In present-day usage,"Tai Po" may refer to the area around the original market towns,the Tai Po New Town,or the entire Tai Po District.
Tai Po New Town,or Tai Po Town,is a new town and non-administrative area in Tai Po District,in the New Territories,Hong Kong. The area is a planned town that surrounding the existing indigenous market towns Tai Po Hui and Tai Po Kau Hui,as well as east of the existing indigenous villages that located on the Lam Tsuen Valley as well as west of those villages in Ting Kok and Tai Mei Tuk and south of those villages in Nam Hang,Fung Yuen and Sha Lo Tung. Most of the lands of the new town were obtained by land reclamation. In present day,Tai Po New Town was simply known as Tai Po. The new town are largely covered by the government Tai Po Outline Zoning Plan,which legally regulated the land use of the area,on top of the terms in the land lease contract with the government. Some of the land lease within the area,were known as Tai Po Town Lot №foo. In election,the town had a different zoning scheme for the election constituencies.

It is one of the public housing estates in Tai Po that is not built on the reclaimed land. The estate consists of nine residential buildings completed in 1989.
