Huang Geng (born 10 July 1970) is a retired male long jumper from PR China. His personal best is 8.38 metres, achieved in May 1995 in Taiyuan. [1]

Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping and throwing. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross-country running, and racewalking.
Wang Junxia is a Chinese former long-distance runner who is the current world record holder at 3,000 meters. She also held the world record for the 10,000 meters for 23 years, between 1993 and 2016, which is a record in itself. Her best years were from 1991 to 1996. Wang was coached by Ma Junren until 1995 and by Mao Dezhen from 1995 to her retirement after the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
The Chinese Taipei national football team represents Taiwan in international football and is controlled by the Chinese Taipei Football Association. Despite never qualifying for the FIFA World Cup, Chinese Taipei, then known as Republic of China, reached the semi-finals of the 1960 and 1968 AFC Asian Cups, finishing third in the former. The side also won gold at the 1954 and 1958 Asian Games, although the players in the team originated from British Hong Kong.
Likas Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Likas, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. It is mainly used for association football and athletics and it is located within Likas Sports Complex. It has been the home stadium of Sabah FC since its opening in 1983 and renovated in 2001, and then secondary renovation in 2023 for AFC preparation usage. It is also used as the home stadium of the Sabah FA Women's Team as they host clubs for the Malaysia National Women's League and the AFC Women's Champions League 2024. Likas Stadium has a capacity of 22,000, making it the 8th largest football stadium in Malaysia in terms of seating capacity.
The World Masters Games is an international multi-sport event held every four years which, in terms of competitor numbers, has developed into the largest of its kind. The men's long jump was an athletics event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. There were 54 competitors from 41 nations, with one athlete not starting. The maximum number of athletes per nation had been set at 3 since the 1930 Olympic Congress. The event was won by 21cm by Carl Lewis of the United States, the nation's fourth consecutive and 20th overall gold medal in the men's long jump. Lewis himself had won the four straight victories, becoming the third Olympian to win the same event four times in a row as well as the only man to win four long jump medals. It was the ninth and final Olympic gold of Lewis's career. James Beckford earned Jamaica's first medal in the event. Joe Greene matched his bronze from 1992, becoming the ninth two-medal winner in the event.

Zheng Siwei is a Chinese badminton player specializing in doubles. He is an Olympic gold medalist, a three-time World Champion and two-time Asian Games gold medalist in the mixed doubles with his current partner Huang Yaqiong. He helped the national team clinch the 2018 Thomas Cup and also 2019 and 2023 Sudirman Cups.
Geng Xiaoling is a retired professional wushu taolu athlete who represented Hong Kong. She is one of the most renowned taolu athletes of all time, having been a five-time world champion and a gold medallist at the Asian Games and the East Asian Games.
