The Hungary women's national water polo team represents Hungary in international women's water polo competitions and friendly matches. The team is one of the leading teams in Europe since the early 1990s, claiming the world title at the 1994 World Aquatics Championships in Rome, Italy and at the 2005 World Aquatics Championships in Montreal, Canada.
Canada competed at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai, China between July 16 and 31, 2011. Margie Schuett was the chef de mission.
Australia competed at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai, China from 16 to 31 July 2011. Australian athletes have competed in every FINA World Aquatics Championships. Swimming Australia sent a total of 97 athletes to the Championships to compete in all 5 sports.

Hungary has participated in all 21 editions of the FINA World Aquatics Championships, held since the first edition of 1973 World Aquatics Championships, winning 110 podiums, including 43 world titles, 34 silver medals and 33 bronze medals.
Hungary competed at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary from 18 June to 3 July.
