Hypophytala hyettoides, the common flash, is a butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. It is found in Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria (south and the Cross River loop), Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea (Bioko). [2] The habitat consists of forests.
