The IHF Women's U18 Handball World Championship (or the IHF Women's Youth World Championship) is the official competition for women's national handball teams under age 18. It has been organized by the International Handball Federation since 2006. It takes place every two years in even years.

The IHF Beach Handball World Championships is an international beach handball competition contested by the men's and women's national teams of the member federations/associations of International Handball Federation (IHF), the sport's global governing body.
The International Handball Federation (IHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball. IHF is responsible for the organisation of handball's major international tournaments, notably the IHF World Men's Handball Championship, which commenced in 1938, and the IHF World Women's Handball Championship, which commenced in 1957.

The 2020 Women's Youth (U-18) World Handball Championship would have been the eighth edition of the championship to be held from 29 September to 11 October 2020 in Croatia under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF). It would have been the first time in history that the championship would have been organised by Croatian Handball Federation.
