The fourteenth season of the Hindi-language music competition reality series Indian Idol premiered on 7 October 2023, on the Sony Entertainment Television.
The season was won by Vaibhav Gupta from Kanpur and Shubadeep Das was the runner-up. [1]
The season was hosted by Hussain Kuwajerwala, marking his return to the show after a hiatus of 11 years. The judging panel saw the return of Vishal Dadlani, alongside new judges Shreya Ghoshal and Kumar Sanu, who replaced Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya. Saahil Chhabria directed the season, with production handled by Fremantle India.
Remote auditions took place for several days in 2023, as well as a number of open-call auditions, and from these, the producers selected the contestants who were then invited to audition in front of the judges.
Filming does not take place until the judges' audition round. The year, the auditions were filmed at the Film City in Mumbai.
Golden ticket and golden mic were distributed in the auditions, they both advanced the participants to the theatre round. However, this was the last season of golden mic as it was replaced by the platinum mic the next season.
Of the number of contestants, only fifteen made it to the gala round to start competing in the bi-weekly elimination competition. They are:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 is an Indian television singing competition that premiered on 4 May 2007 and ran until 13 October 2007. It is the 2nd instalment of the "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge" series and the 4th public voting competition in the "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" series. Star Voice of India is an Indian television singing competition that premiered on 18 May 2007 and ended on 24 November 2007 on StarPlus. The show was directed by Gajendra Singh, creator of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa series, and produced by Urban Brew Studios. It also featured judges from the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa series, Aadesh Shrivastava, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Alka Yagnik, Lalit Pandit and Jatin Pandit. Shaan, who had previously been hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. The winner of the show was Ishmeet Singh Sodhi.
Dance India Dance is an Indian Hindi-language dance competition reality television series that airs on Zee TV, created and produced by Essel Vision Productions. It premiered on 30 January 2009. Here the judges are called Masters and Mithun Chakraborty was called Grand Master . Season 7 premiered with a different concept. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2011 was the fifth season of the popular Indian Zee TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs. Broadcast from 3 June 2011, the music reality show had 18 participants: 9 boys and 9 girls. The theme for season 5 was Music Ka Gurukul. The show was won by Azmat Hussain, who later became a contestant on season 11 of Indian Idol. The runner-up was Salman Ali who later on became the winner of season 10 of Indian Idol.
