The Indonesian Masters is a golf tournament on the Asian Tour. It was first played in 2011. [1]

Contents

In 2017, the Indonesian Masters became the Asian Tour's flagship event, replacing the Thailand Golf Championship which had been the flagship event up to 2015. Having not been held in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament returned to the Asian Tour schedule in 2022 as part of the International Series. [2]

Lee John Westwood is an English professional golfer. Noted for his consistency, he is one of the few golfers who has won tournaments on five continents – Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and Oceania – including victories on the European Tour and the PGA Tour. He has also won tournaments in four decades, the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. He was named European Tour Golfer of the Year for the 1998, 2000, 2009 and 2020 seasons. Founded in 2019 as an event on the European Tour, in 2022, it became the flagship event on the Asian Tour with a new title sponsor, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), a Saudi government sovereign wealth fund.

The Asia Golf Circuit was the principal men's professional golf tour in Southeast Asia from the early 1960s through to the mid-late 1990s. The tour was founded in 1961 as the Far East Circuit. The first series of five tournaments was held in 1962 and consisted of the national open championships of the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, plus a final tournament held in Japan. The tour gradually grew over the subsequent years, eventually becoming a regular ten tournament circuit in 1974.

The International Series is a series of men's professional golf tournaments played internationally, as part of the Asian Tour.
