The IFBA (International Female Boxing Association) is one of the lightly-regarded world championship fight sanctioning organizations in Women's boxing.

The IFBA was formed in February 1997, and is based in Henderson, Nevada. [1]

Maureen Shea American boxer

Maureen Anne Shea Carranza is an American professional boxer of Irish and Mexican descent. She held the WBC interim female featherweight title in 2011 and the IFBA super bantamweight title from 2014 to 2015, and challenged once for the WBA female super featherweight title in 2009. She is known as the "Real Million Dollar Baby" because of her work as the main sparring partner for Hilary Swank in her preparation for the 2005 movie, Million Dollar Baby.

She is ranked by BoxRec as the best female professional boxer of all time. She has the notable distinction of being the first fighter to hold a world-boxing title and a UFC title.

Shannon Rachelle Hall is an American professional boxer, wrestler, bodybuilder, martial artist, and actress. She was the first ever Toughwoman Champion and competed on American Gladiators as Dallas. She has also worked as a professional boxer in the IFBA Boxing League. She has competed on ESPN, starred in two pay-per-views, and featured in Sports Illustrated, Muscle & Fitness and USA Today.

Kaliesha West is a professional female boxer and the former 3 time WBO Female Bantamweight and IFBA super Bantamweight Boxing World Champion. She was born on February 11, 1988, in South Haven, Michigan. West currently resides in Moreno Valley California, a small suburb between Riverside and Palm Springs. West is a motivational speaker and an advocate for women's right's and women's boxing. On September 18, 2010, West won the WBO title, becoming the first world boxing champion from the Inland Empire. Her father, Juan West, is her boxing trainer and manager. She was also a contestant on the CW reality show Capture, placing 4th out of 12 teams. Currently, West is delivering her voice through social media networks, campaign, and protests across the United States in hopes to generate a following from those who believe in equal opportunities for women in sports. Some have compared her career to that of Billie Jean King.

Choi Shin-hee is a South Korean female boxer. She competed professionally since 2004 and is a former 2005-2006 IFBA Flyweight Champion. She was defeated in 2007 by Elena Reid. She retired in 2008 and owns the Seongnam Boxing Gym. Her boxing nickname was “The Beauty”.

Jujeath Nagaowa is a Filipina mixed martial artist and boxer, who has fought for world titles for International Female Boxers Association and Women's International Boxing Association. As a mixed martial artist, she has competed for WSOF and ONE FC.

Layla Eveleen McCarter is an American professional boxer. She has held multiple world titles across five weight divisions, having held the WIBF welterweight title since 2018 and previously the IFBA featherweight title in 2000; the WIBF super lightweight title in 2003; the WBA female lightweight title twice between 2007 and 2009; and the WBA female super welterweight title in 2012.

Tenkai Tsunami Japanese boxer

Manami Arima, better known as Tenkai Tsunami, is a Japanese professional boxer. She is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBO female junior-flyweight title from 2018 to July 2021 and previously the WBA female super-flyweight title from 2009 to 2012. She also held the IFBA bantamweight title in 2008, and challenged for the WBA female bantamweight title in 2012; the WBC female super-flyweight title in 2013; and the IBF female bantamweight title in 2015. As of September 2020, she is ranked as the world's third best active female junior-flyweight by The Ring and fifth by BoxRec.
