Ioan Croft is a Welsh amateur boxer who won a bronze medal at the 2022 European Championships. His twin brother, Garan, is also an amateur boxer. [4]

Both twins, who come from Crymych, took up boxing at Cardigan ABC and are Welsh-speaking. They were featured in an S4C television documentary prior to the Commonwealth Games 2022, at which they both represented Wales. [5] At the Games Ioan won a gold medal and Garan bronze. [6]

Ioan fights at welterweight division, his brother Garan at light-middleweight. [7] Their mother insists that they do not fight against one another in a competitive bout. [7]

In 1992 he became the Welsh super featherweight champion, taking the British title just five months later. He retired from boxing in 1994.

As an amateur, he won gold at the 2007 World Cadet Championships in Hungary and won gold for Wales at the 2011 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Ankara. He was the first Welsh boxer to achieve the feat in 86 years.

Luke Jackson is a professional Australian boxer with a current record of 19–2. Jackson turned professional in 2013 and is the current title holder of the WBA Oceania, WBO Oriental and Australian Featherweight titles.

He also represented Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Nathan Thorley is former Welsh professional boxer who challenged for the Commonwealth cruiserweight title in August 2020. As an amateur he competed for Wales in the light-heavyweight category at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won a bronze medal.

Lauren Louise Price is a Welsh amateur boxer, and former kickboxer and footballer. While representing Wales she won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, becoming the first Welsh woman to win a Commonwealth Games boxing medal. Four years later she surpassed this achievement by winning gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, followed by a gold at the 2019 World Championships. While representing Great Britain, she won gold medals at the 2019 European Games and 2020 Summer Olympics.

Jermaine Robert Asare is a Welsh professional boxer. He represented Great Britain at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, winning a bronze medal. He turned professional in 2013 and unsuccessfully challenged for the Welsh light-heavyweight title in 2017, suffering a defeat to Nathan Thorley.
