Izad Khvast-e Basri (Persian : ايزدخواست باصري‎, also Romanized as Īzad Khvāst-e Bāşrī; also known as Īzad Khvāst)^[1] is a village in Darian Rural District, in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,642, in 389 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Darian Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,712, in 2,127 families. The rural district has 12 villages.
