Qasr-e Qomsheh (Persian : قصرقمشه‎, also Romanized as Qaşr-e Qomsheh; also known as Kasr-e Gūmīsheh and Qasr-i-Qumisheh)^[1] is a town in Derak District, in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,890, in 2,594 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Derak Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 126,191, in 32,025 families. The rural district has 24 villages.

The District has two cities: Shiraz and Darian.
