JSW Ratnagiri Power Station is a coal-based thermal power plant located in Nandiwade village near Jaigad in Ratnagiri district Maharashtra. The power plant is operated by the JSW Energy Limited (JSWEL).
The coal for the plant is imported.
It has an installed capacity of 1200 MW (4x300 MW). The plant became fully operational in year 2011. [1]
Dabhol Power Station is located near Anjanwel village in Ratnagiri district in Maharashtra, India, about 160 kilometres (99 mi) south of Mumbai. The power station was built by the Dabhol Power Company (DPC), which was a joint venture of Enron International, General Electric, Bechtel and Maharashtra Power Development Corporation. At the start of its construction in 1992, the Dabhol power station project was, at $3 billion, the biggest foreign investment in India. The plant was mired in controversies of corruption and malpractices involving Enron and people at the highest political levels of the Indian and the United States governments.

Source of water for the power plant is from Pench reservoir through a pond of Koradi Thermal Power Station (KTPS). Since the new power plant has begun operations, locals have reported increase in dust leading to many health conditions. This is due to low quality equipment used in the power plant
Mundra Thermal Power Station is located at Mundra in Kutch district in the Indian state of Gujarat. The power plant is one of the coal-based power plants of Adani Power. The coal for the power plant is imported primarily from Bunyu, Indonesia. Source of water for the power plant is sea water from the Gulf of Kutch.

Jaigad Port also officially known as JSW Jaigarh Port is a sea port in Jaigad, Maharashtra, on the eastern coast of the Arabian Sea. The port is operated by JSW Infrastructure. It is Maharashtra's first deep water and all-weather port for berthing of capsized ships. The port offers specialised services for dry bulk and liquid cargo. As of 2021, the port has a cargo handling capacity of 50 million metric tons.
