Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie, an Algerian professional association football club, has gained entry to Confederation of African Football (CAF) competitions on several occasions. They have represented Algeria in the Champions League on seventeen occasions, the Confederation Cup on five occasions, the now-defunct Cup Winners' Cup two occasions, the now-defunct CAF Cup four occasions and the African Super Cup in two occasions.

Overview

JS Kabylie is the most successful Algerian club at both the domestic level and the international level. At the domestic level, the club has won Algerian league 14 times, the Algerian Cup 5 times, the Algerian Super Cup once and the Algerian League Cup once. At the continental level, the club has won the CAF Champions League twice, in 1981 and 1990, the African Cup Winners' Cup once in 1995, the CAF Cup three times in 2000, 2001 and 2002 and the African Super Cup once in 1982.     Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie, known as JS Kabylie or JSK, is an Algerian professional football club based in Tizi Ouzou, Kabylia. The club is named after the cultural, natural and historical region that is home to the Kabyle Berber people speaking Kabyle. The club was founded in 1946 and its colours are yellow and green.     Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium is a football stadium in Tizi Ouzou, Kabylia, Algeria. Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium is owned by the Algerian Ministry of Youth and Sport. With 50,766 seats, it is the third largest stadium in Algeria. The stadium was designed by United States-based construction company Atlas Group subsidiary Atlas Genie Civil Spa they completed the project in November 2022 after 12 years of work as they started the construction on May 15, 2010.

    The 2002 CAF Cup was the 11th edition of the CAF Cup, the African continental club competition for runners up of the respective domestic leagues. It was won by Algerian team JS Kabylie who beat Tonnerre Yaoundé of Cameroon 4–1 over two legs in the final. With the win, JS Kabylie became the first and only side to win the competition three times in a row, and kept the trophy.

    The 2001 CAF Cup was the 10th edition of the CAF Cup, the African continental club competition for runners up of the respective domestic leagues. It was won by Algerian team JS Kabylie who beat Étoile Sportive du Sahel of Tunisia on the away goals rule in the final, after the two teams finished level on aggregate 2-2. It was the second year in a row that JS Kabylie's won the competition after also winning the 2000 edition.

    Hakim Medane is an Algerian former professional footballer. A midfielder, he played abroad in Portugal and made 28 appearances for the Algeria national team, scoring once. He is the current director general of JS Kabylie.

The African football competitions are relatively recent and that there was only the African Cup of Champion Clubs, the first edition of which dates from the year 1964. This can be explained first by the fact that at that time most African countries recently gained independence. Everyone was not at the same level in terms of football, on the other hand there were also other football competitions whose geographical scope was restricted and represented only part of the African continent. These well established since the early sixties, the continental dimension of a test was still difficult to admit and tolerate, moreover the first editions will be organized and won by countries in the center and East of the continent African.

    This article aims at providing details on the participation and performance of Atlético Petróleos de Luanda at the various competitions organized by the Confederation of African Football, namely the CAF Champions League, the CAF Confederation Cup and the former CAF Cup and CAF Winner's Cup as well as international tournaments and friendlies.

    The clasico kabylo-algérois is the name given to matches between USM Alger and JS Kabylie football clubs from Tizi Ouzou and Algiers, Algeria they are considered one of the most famous clubs in Algeria and their matches are given great attention by the Algerian media, The period between 1996 and 2010 is the most exciting between the two teams because of the great conflict between the heads of the two teams Saïd Allik and Mohand Chérif Hannachi, It is said that the reason for the enmity between the two when Said Alik bringing the star of JS Kabylie and national team at the time Mahieddine Meftah the two teams were both champions and runners-up in the same season five times, including three consecutive times between 2003–04 and 2005–06.

    Wydad Athletic Club is a Moroccan professional sports club based in Casablanca. The club has gained entry to all international competitions on several occasions from 1941.
