JTEKT Stings Aichi (ジェイテクトSTINGS愛知, Jeitekuto STINGS Aichi) is a men's volleyball team based in the city of Kariya, Japan. It competes in the V.League, the highest volleyball league in Japan. The club was founded in 1958 and the current owner of the club is JTEKT.

History

JTEKT Stings was founded as Toyoda Kōki volleyball club in 1958.

The club was promoted to V1 League (later renamed the Challenge League) in 2002. The club was renamed the JTEKT Stings in 2006. In 2010, the club won the Challenge League for the first time. In 2013, the club was promoted to V.Premier League (later was changed to V.League division 1), the highest league in Japan, after beating Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler. [1] [2] [3] In 2020, the club won V.League division 1 title in Season 2019/20 for the first time in club's history. [4]

JTEKT Stings won their second title of Emperor's Cup in 2022. [5] To celebrate the 10th anniversary of their entry into the V.League Division 1, they wore a limited edition 10th anniversary uniform featuring red and Mizuno's original blue.

Hiroaki Asano is a retired Japanese male volleyball player. He used to be a part of the Japan men's national volleyball team. On club level, he only played for JTEKT Stings since 2012. On 9 April 2021, the club announced that he would retire after the 69th Kurowashiki All Japan Volleyball Tournament, but it was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Shinji Takahashi is a retired Japanese male volleyball player and was part of the Japan men's national volleyball team. He started to be the head coach for JTEKT Stings in V.League Division 1 since 2018–19 season until 2020–21 season. He led the team won the first V.League 1 title of the club's history in 2020 and the Emperor's Cup title in 2021. Currently, he is being a management staff of the team.

Yuji Nishida is a Japanese left-handed volleyball player. As of July 2024, Nishida plays for Panasonic Panthers at club level.

Masahiro Sekita is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Tokyo. He currently plays in V.League Division 1 for JTEKT Stings and Japan men's national volleyball team. He used to be the captain of Japan U-21 national team in 2012 Asian Junior Men's Volleyball Championship and 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship.

Kento Miyaura is a Japanese male volleyball player from Kumamoto City, on the island of Kyushu. Currently, he plays in V.League division 1 for JTEKT Stings. He used to be the captain of Japan U-19 team and Waseda University's club.

Tomohiro Ogawa is a Japanese male volleyball player from Yokohama city in Kanagawa Prefecture. He plays in V.League Division 1 for JTEKT Stings and Japan men's national volleyball team.

Tsubasa Hisahara is a male Japanese former Volleyball player who played for Panasonic Panthers in V.League Division 1. He used to be the captain of Japanese youth national team and was a part of Japan men's national volleyball team.
