Jakarta Special Capital Region II (Indonesian : Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta II), abbreviated as DKI Jakarta II or Jakarta II, is an electoral district in Indonesia which encompasses of Central and South Jakarta in the Jakarta Special Capital Region. The district also represents Indonesian constituents abroad. Since 2009, this district has been represented by seven members of the People's Representative Council (DPR RI).

In 2019, during his annual state of the union address at the parliament, President Joko Widodo announced a plan to relocate the capital to Kalimantan on the island of Borneo. As part of the plan, part of Kutai Kartanegara Regency and Penajam North Paser Regency in East Kalimantan will be carved out to create a new province-level planned city, and the capital will be relocated to a more central location within Indonesia. On 17 January 2022, the name was revealed to be Nusantara.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Jakarta Regional House of Representatives</span>

The Special Region of Jakarta Regional House of Representatives is the unicameral legislature of the Indonesian province of Jakarta. The Council is composed of 106 members elected via party lists in the 2014 legislative election. Elections are held every five years and are conducted simultaneously with the nationwide legislative election. The new 2024-2029 period of the council was officially opened with an inauguration on the 26th of August 2024.

Edward Tannur is an Indonesian politician and businessman who was elected into the House of Representatives of Indonesia for the three consecutive terms in 2009–2024. A non-active cadre of the National Awakening Party, he represented the East Nusa Tenggara II electoral district and sat in Commission IV. Tannur's 32-year-old-in-2024 son Ronald Tannur was tried in Surabaya for a car incident with one fatality in a parking lot building. Shortly after, Tannur deactivated from his position in parliament.
