James Stuart Sykes (born 26 April 1992) is an English cricketer. Sykes is a left-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox and who most recently played county cricket for Leicestershire. He was born at Huntingdon,Huntingdonshire,and was educated at St Ivo School.
Sykes made his senior debut in county cricket for Cambridgeshire in the 2010 MCCA Knockout Trophy against Lincolnshire. [1] Having played for the Leicestershire Second XI with some success, [2]
Sykes made his first team debut for Leicestershire in a List A match against the touring Australians at Grace Road in 2012. Leicestershire won the toss and put the Australians into bat,with the tourists making 241 all out from 41 overs,following several delays due to rain. Sykes took his maiden wicket when he dismissed Shane Watson for a single run. Further rain delays meant Leicestershire target was reduced to 239 from 36 overs. Leicestershire could only manage to make 136 all out,with Sykes being dismissed for 2 runs by Michael Clarke. [3]
In 2013,Sykes took an active role in Leicestershire's season,taking 12 wickets in 7 County Championship matches and featuring regularly in Leicester's YB40 campaign. He was rewarded with a new 2-year deal keeping him at Grace Road until the end of the 2015 season. [4]
On 22 June 2017,Sykes left Leicestershire by mutual consent to pursue other playing opportunities. [5]

In domestic cricket,he represents Lancashire County Cricket Club. Anderson was a member of the England team that won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20.

Jerome Everton Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who has played as a fast bowler for the West Indies. Taylor eventually picked up 100 wickets for the Windies in both tests and odis. During 2017 he reversed an initial decision to retire from international cricket. Taylor has also featured for Jamaica,English sides Somerset,Leicestershire and Sussex,CPL teams St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs and IPL sides Pune Warriors and Mumbai Indians in his cricketing career. Taylor was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup. He is the only bowler to have ever taken a hat-trick in a Champions Trophy match,which he did in the 2006 tournament against Australia,and that was the first hat-trick taken by a West Indian bowler in the ODI format.

He is noted as being a fine fielder in the covers. He became the youngest Leicestershire one-day centurion and first-class double centurion. In 2009,Taylor also became the youngest player in Leicestershire's history to score 1,000 championship runs in a season.
Steven Joseph "Steve" O'Shaughnessy is a former English professional cricketer who played for Lancashire and Worcestershire in the 1980s,and then had a substantial career in Minor Counties cricket with Cumberland. Since retiring from playing,he has become an umpire,and was promoted in December 2010 to the first-class panel for the 2011 season.

The match was interrupted by rain during the Australian innings. Australia won the final by 8 wickets applying Duckworth–Lewis method,winning the Champions Trophy for the first time. Shane Watson earned the man of the match award for his performance in the match. Chris Gayle was named the man of the series for scoring 474 runs in the tournament.

The Australian cricket team toured England and Ireland in June and July 2012. Australia played a One Day International (ODI) against Ireland on 23 June,and a five-match ODI series against England from 29 June to 10 July. In 2017,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,the Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest t20 Blast. In addition,before the start of the English cricket season,Kent competed in the 2016–17 Regional Super50,the List A competition of the West Indian domestic season. This was the first time that any English county had competed in an overseas domestic competition. The invitation to take part in the tournament was largely due to the influence of former West Indian captain Jimmy Adams who had been Kent's Head Coach until September 2016.
The 2017 Royal London One-Day Cup tournament was a limited overs cricket competition that forms part of the 2017 domestic cricket season in England and Wales. Matches were contested over 50 overs per side and had List A cricket status. All eighteen First-class counties competed in the tournament which ran from the end of April with the final taking place at Lord's on 1 July. Nottinghamshire won the tournament,defeating Surrey in the final. The defending champions were Warwickshire.
The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season,and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship,which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.
