Jeff "Mad Dog" Madden was the Assistant Athletic Director for Strength & Conditioning for the college football team of the University of Texas, the Texas Longhorns. [1] He has had this role with the team since 1998, [2] including helping the team become the 2005 National Champions.

Prior to Texas, Madden was also a coach at University of North Carolina (1993–1997), University of Colorado (1989–1992), and Rice University (1984–1988), and University of University of Cincinnati (1983). [3]

Among his students are two Heisman Trophy winners: Rashaan Salaam and Ricky Williams. [4]

Madden attended and graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a football player for the Commodores from 1978 to 1982.

At Texas, he won a National Championship and was recognized as a unanimous All-American and the top college defensive back. In the NFL, he was 2nd Team All Pro in 2010. In his last NFL season, he played briefly for both the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos. As a Bronco, he was part of the team that suffered a loss at Super Bowl XLVIII, despite not playing in it. After retiring as a player, he returned to Texas as a coach.

Tim Brewster is an American football coach and former player. He is the associate head coach and tight ends coach for Charlotte. He also served as the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator for the North Carolina Tar Heels football program. He was the head coach of the University of Minnesota from 2007 until he was fired midway through the Golden Gophers' 2010 season. In 2011, Brewster was a sideline analyst for Fox College Football and the 'NFL on Fox with Gus Johnson and Charles Davis.

Zac Woodfin is an American football coach and former linebacker, who is currently the Director of Sports Performance for the Tennessee Titans. He was originally signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2005, and went on to have stints with the Baltimore Ravens, Frankfurt Galaxy and the Houston Texans. Zac attended Prattville High School. He played college football at UAB.

Jay Jacobs is an American college athletics director who most recently served as the executive associate athletics director for external affairs for the Florida Gators and was the former director of athletics for the Auburn Tigers athletic department from 2004 to 2017. He was named Auburn's 14th director of athletics on December 22, 2004, after working in almost every area of the Auburn athletic department for the previous 20 years. Jacobs announced on November 3, 2017 that he would step down effective June 1, 2018, and a replacement was announced and hired in January 2018.
