Jefferson Valley Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Yorktown, New York. Opened in 1983, it is anchored by Macy's and Dick's Sporting Goods. It is managed by Washington Prime Group. [1]
Melvin Simon & Associates built Jefferson Valley Mall in 1983, which included Service Merchandise Sears and Read's (later Jordan Marsh, then Abraham & Straus, now Macy's). [2]
Expansion plans were announced in 1996. These were to comprise the addition of 80,000 square feet to Macy's and an additional anchor. [3]
Service Merchandise, another mall tenant that closed in 1999, became H&M in 2001. [4]
In the early 2000s the mall went under a renovation changing the flooring and color along with removing the fountain and trees. [5] In February 2016, the mall ownership was changed from Simon to Washington Prime Group.
Construction is underway to expand and renovate the mall. [6] [7] On October 15, 2018, it was announced that Sears would shutter. [8] It is set to be reconstructed to feature additional mall space.

It is the largest mall in the state of Indiana, and has remained so since its construction. The center's original anchor stores were JCPenney, Sears, Lazarus, and Woolworth. Expansions in 1990 and 1998 added to the total number of anchor and inline stores, while also adding a food court. The anchor stores are JCPenney, Forever 21, H&M, AMC Theatres, Dick's Sporting Goods, Macy's, and Von Maur; the former location of Sears has been vacant since 2018. Overall, Castleton Square consists of over 130 inline stores.
The Shoppes at Carlsbad is a shopping mall in Carlsbad, California. The mall was originally named Plaza Camino Real when it was built in 1969, but was rebranded several times when it was a Westfield Holdings property (1994-2015).
