Jefrud-e Bala (Persian : جفرودبالا‎, also Romanized as Jefrūd-e Bālā; also known as Dzhufru, Jafrūd, Jefrūd, Jīfrūd, Jufru, and Jufrūd)^[1] is a village in Chapar Khaneh Rural District, Khomam District, Rasht County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 366, in 119 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Chapar Khaneh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Khomam District, Rasht County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,620, in 3,439 families. The rural district has 15 villages.
