Taraz Kuh (Persian : طرازكوه‎, also Romanized as Ţarāz Kūh and Taraz Kooh; also known as Tarazku)^[1] is a village in Pasikhan Rural District, in the Central District of Rasht County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 793, in 205 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Pasikhan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Rasht County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,018, in 2,602 families. The rural district has 13 villages.
