Joella Lloyd (born 12 April 2002) is an athlete from Antigua and Barbuda, who holds the national record in both the 100 metres and 200 metres sprint events.
From St. John's where she attended Antigua Girls’ High School before going to study at the University of Tennessee. [1]
Lloyd produced a personal best of 23.39 in the 200 metres at the SEC Championships, placing 9th overall in February 2021. On 27 February 2021, Lloyd won the indoor 60 metres conference title at the SEC Championships, tying the all-time program record with a time of 7.15 seconds and recording the No. 1 mark in the world by any female athlete under 20 years old. Lloyd finished sixth at her NCAA indoor nationals debut on 13 March 2021, posting a time of 7.23 in the 60 metres. [3]
Lloyd set a new Antigua and Barbuda national record in the 100 meters in May 2021, running 11.19 for first place at the Tennessee Challenge in Knoxville. It was also the World U-20 leading time for 2021, beating the USA's Tionna Brown and her 11.29 run. [4] She won the 100 m bronze and 200 m silver medal in the 2021 NACAC U20 Championships. [5] [6]
Selected for the 100 metres in the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics Lloyd won her preliminary heat in 11.55 seconds, before running 11.54 in the first round finishing 7th in the heat. [7] [8] [9]
In May 2022, Lloyd added the national 200 metres record to her 100m record when she ran 23.09 at the SEC championships. [10] Lloyd lowered this again at the NCAA championship semi-finals running 22.66 for the 200 metres. [11] At the 2022 World Athletics Championships Lloyd qualified from the heats to the semi-finals, again running below 23 seconds. [12]

He was the Diamond League champion in 2018 & 2023 and the world number one ranked runner in the men's 100 m for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 seasons.
Noah Lyles is an American professional track and field sprinter competing in the 100 meters and 200 meters. He is the 2020 Tokyo Olympic 200 m bronze medalist and a six-time World champion, having won the 200 m and 4 × 100 m at the 2019 World Championships, the 200 m at the 2022 World Championships, and the 100 m, 200 m, and 4 × 100 m events at the 2023 World Championships, becoming the first man since Usain Bolt in 2015 to complete the sprint treble at a World Championships. At the 2022 Championships, Lyles also earned a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m relay. He holds personal bests of 9.83 seconds for the 100 m and 19.31 seconds for the 200 m, the latter being an American record making him the third fastest on the respective world all-time list.
Daryll Neita is a British sprinter. In 2022, she won her first individual international medals, with bronze in the 100 metres at both the European Championships and Commonwealth Games. Neita claimed bronze for the 60 metres at the 2023 European Indoor Championships. She has won several medals as part of Great Britain 4 × 100 m relay teams, including Olympic bronze medals in 2016 and 2021, World Championships silver medals in 2017 and 2019, and European gold in 2018.
Fredrick Lee Kerley is an American professional track and field sprinter who started his career competing in the 400 meters until 2020, when he transitioned to the 100 meters and 200 meters. He has earned several medals at the World Championships in the 400 m and 4 × 400 m relay including an individual bronze and a relay gold at the 2019 edition. Kerley claimed 100 m gold in the 2022 edition.
Matthew Boling is an American track and field athlete specializing in the sprints and long jump. He won four gold medals at the 2019 Pan American U20 Championships in the 100 m, 200 m, 4 × 100 m relay and 4 × 400 m relay, and helped set world under-20 records in both of the relay races for the United States. He also ran in the semi-final for the American 4 × 400 m relay team at the 2018 World U20 Championships that went on to earn silver in the final. Boling would later go on to win a gold medal at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in the mixed 4 x 400 m relay, and would help set a world record for the event in the process.

Tebogo won the gold medal in the 100 metres and a silver in the 200 metres at both the 2021 and 2022 World Athletics Under-20 Championships. In 2021, Tebogo became the first Botswana athlete to claim the 100m title at any World Championships level. He is the 200m 2022 African champion, becoming the youngest winner of this title in competition history. Tebogo broke the 300m world record, running a time of 30.69 seconds on February 17, 2024.
