Mbadi John Ng'ongo is a Kenyan politician. Recently nominated minister of finance.He belongs to the Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Gwassi Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. [1]

Education

Mbadi attended Lingongo Primary School and later joined Kokuro Boys Secondary School for his secondary education. He attended the University of Nairobi in 1992 and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Commerce. [1] In 2007 he obtained a Master of Business Administration. [1] He is also a Certified Public Accountant and member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.

Career

He was employed by the University of Nairobi as senior accountant where he worked until 2011. Has was very vocal and instrumental in parliament and In September 2012, Mbadi was appointed the Assistant Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, a position he held until the 2013 general elections. Mbadi was Suba Constituency Member of Parliament after he was elected in the March 4th 2013 elections. Hon. Mbadi also serves as the minority leader in the National Assembly of Kenya. [2] He was in the Public Accounts Committee that looked into the National Youth Service Scandal. On July 25 2024, he was nominated to be Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Treasury & Economic Planning by William Ruto.

Otuoma Paul Nyongesa is a Kenyan politician. He was a member of Orange Democratic Movement until 21 April 2017 when he tendered his resignation. He was elected to represent the Funyula Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election and was the minister for the Local Government from 2010-2013. He was a member of Parliament for Funyula Constituency until August 2017 when he contested for gubernatorial seat for Busia County against his rival Sospeter Ojamoong but failed. Otuoma was born on 15 September 1966. He attended Khalsa primary school in Nairobi, Eastleigh High School in Nairobi from 1981 to 1984, and then went to Nairobi School from 1985 to 1986. Otuoma is a veterinarian by training, holding a Bachelor's of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Nairobi (1991), where he also earned an MBA in 2001. He is married with 5 children.

Ganze Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of seven constituencies in Kilifi County. The constituency has four wards, all electing representatives for the Kilifi County Assembly. The constituency was established for the 1988 elections. After the IEBC adopted the Boundary commission's recommendation for new constituencies and boundaries, Ganze Constituency retained its name, and no major boundaries were altered.
