John Sanday (born c.1960 in Tailevu) is a Fijian former rugby union player who played as a lock and number eight.
In his club career he played for Suva in the national championship. His only international caps were in the 1987 Rugby World Cup, where he played two matches against Argentina and New Zealand.
He is director of Melanesian Trustee Services Ltd., [3] where he is a merchant banker with 40 years' experience in the industry and has had several ventures in Papua New Guinea, Australia and Fiji and runs a business consultancy company, providing consultancy in the resources sector mainly in fisheries, mining and oil and gas fields with landowner groups. He has now 4 children 2 girls (Alameida Sanday and Kalista Sanday) and 2 boys (Declan Sanday and John Sanday) and his wife Uda barbra Mea. He is uncle of Kirwan Sanday, an Australian-born rugby player who plays as prop for Australia and formerly for Fiji U20 [4]
John has a various of upcoming new products as well as new company's. John is soon to release his new Kava Chews ($10 each) product around the world in early May or late April, also coming to the world his Kava drink and lollipop which is said to relax the body and relieve stress. This is already has been pre ordered (sold out). John is also busy trying to grow his company which is estimated by the end of this year will be around $800 million Kina which is converted to $250 million US dollars. John is undergoing his Kava farm with already 134 acres planted ready for harvest.

Fiji, officially the Republic of Fiji, is an island country in Melanesia, part of Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean about 1,100 nautical miles northeast of New Zealand's North Island. Its closest neighbours are Vanuatu to the west, New Caledonia to the southwest, New Zealand's Kermadec Islands to the southeast, Tonga to the east, the Samoas and France's Wallis and Futuna to the northeast, and Tuvalu to the north. Fiji consists of an archipelago of more than 330 islands—of which about 110 are permanently inhabited—and more than 500 islets, amounting to a total land area of about 18,300 square kilometres (7,100 sq mi). The most outlying island is Ono-i-Lau. The two major islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, account for 87% of the total population of 883,483. The capital, Suva, on Viti Levu, serves as the country's principal cruise-ship port. About three-quarters of Fijians live on Viti Levu's coasts, either in Suva or in smaller urban centres such as Nadi—where tourism is the major local industry—or Lautoka, where the sugar-cane industry is paramount. Due to its terrain, the interior of Viti Levu is sparsely inhabited.
Josevata Taliga "Joe" Rokocoko is a professional New Zealand rugby union player. Rokocoko is known for his speed and strength which has accounted for his prolific try strike rate. He is a specialist left-winger but has occasionally played on the right wing for the All Blacks.

Sitiveni Waica Sivivatu is a retired New Zealand rugby union footballer, playing on the position of a wing. He was largely successful in the 2005 Super 12 season playing for the Chiefs, and acquired a starting position in the All Blacks. He has scored 29 tries in 45 tests. He also scored 4 tries for the Pacific Islanders in 2004, 2 of which he scored against his current team, the All Blacks and 2 against South Africa. Since the Pacific Islanders team has been sanctioned by the IRB, his 4 tries for them stands.
The Tonga national rugby league team represents Tonga in rugby league football. They are currently the fourth ranked team in the world. The team was formed to compete in the 1986 Pacific Cup, and have competed at five Rugby League World Cups, starting in 1995 and continuing consecutively until the most recent tournament in 2017, where they achieved their best ever result as semi-finalists.
The Fiji national rugby league team, nicknamed the Bati, has been participating in international rugby league football since 1992. The team is controlled by the governing body for rugby league in Fiji, Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL), which is currently a member of the Asia-Pacific Rugby League Confederation (APRLC). Jarryd Lee Hayne is an Australian-born Fijian former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Parramatta Eels in the National Rugby League. He has also played American football and rugby union sevens at the highest levels. An Australia and Fiji international and New South Wales State of Origin representative fullback or centre, he previously played for the Gold Coast Titans and the NRL All Stars team. He won the Dally M Medal in 2009 and 2014 as the NRL's player of the year, and the Rugby League International Federation's International Player of the Year award in 2009. Hayne attracted significant attention when he made the switch from one of the NRL's top players to a rookie in the 2015 NFL season with the San Francisco 49ers. At the end of the season, Hayne ended his NFL career. Before returning to the NRL, Hayne also represented Fiji in rugby union sevens.

The Pacific Rugby League International is a rugby league test match that has been played between two Pacific Island nations during the National Rugby League's annual representative weekend since 2013. The fixture was held at Penrith Stadium for the 2013 and 2014 test matches. In 2015, two fixtures were held; Samoa and Tonga competed for the Polynesian Cup while Fiji and Papua New Guinea competed for the Melanesian Cup at Cbus Super Stadium. In 2016 the fixtures returned to New South Wales and were held at Parramatta's Pirtek Stadium.
Kirwan Sanday is an Australian professional rugby union player of Fijian descent. He plays for the Reds and his usual position is prop.
