Jon Button (born February 10, 1971) is an American bass player based in Los Angeles, California. Button has played on commercial, film and television scores and toured with a number of well-known artists. He plays both electric and upright string bass.
Jon Button was born into a musical family in Fairbanks, Alaska. The youngest of five siblings, Button started learning piano at age four, and bass at seven. During his teen years, he played in jazz and blues bands and with local symphonies and orchestras. In high school, Button won music scholarships and later attended the University of North Texas' music program. [1]
Button moved to Los Angeles in 1994 and found work playing on film and television scores, including the Emmy Award winning Batman Beyond . [2] He has played on a number of recordings, including Borrowed Heaven by the Corrs [3] and Tour Fijación Oral by Shakira. [4] He has performed live and toured with such well-known artists as Michelle Branch, Rachael Yamagata, Mandy Moore, Shakira, Sheryl Crow, Roger Daltrey and The Who. Button also played at the musical benefit Live 8 [1] and played upright bass with The Who during an acoustic concert associated with The Who's Super Bowl performance. [5]
In 2009, Button toured as bassist in Roger Daltrey's band for the Use It or Lose It tour. [6] The band also opened for Eric Clapton during several dates in 2010, [7] and scheduled more tour dates for 2012. He is currently playing on tour with The Who to replace Pino Palladino.
Button has been married to actress Terryn Westbrook since 2011. They have one child.
The Who are an English rock band formed in London in 1964. Raymond "Boz" Burrell was an English musician. Originally a vocalist and guitarist, Burrell is best known for being the vocalist and bassist of King Crimson from 1971 to 1972 and the original bassist of Bad Company, formed in 1973, with whom he stayed until 1982 before re-joining for a reunion of the original line-up during 1998 to 1999. He died of a heart attack in Spain in 2006, aged 60.

Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 is the sixth studio album by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira. It was released on 3 June 2005 by Epic Records. After attaining international success in 2001 with her fifth studio album and first English-language record, Laundry Service, Shakira wanted to release a fifth Spanish-language project as a follow-up. In the vein of her earlier work, Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 is a Latin pop album. Shakira enlisted Rick Rubin as executive producer, also working with Gustavo Cerati, Lester Mendez, Luis Fernando Ochoa and Jose "Gocho" Torres.
Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 is the seventh studio album and second English-language album by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, released on 28 November 2005, by Epic Records. After attaining international success with her fifth studio effort, Laundry Service (2001), Shakira decided to create a two-part follow-up record. She released the project as the follow-up to her sixth studio effort, Fijación Oral, Vol. 1, with which she had attained international success five months prior. He is the younger brother of the Who's guitarist Pete Townshend, and is most associated with The Who and the various side projects of its original members. Simon Townshend has also performed with numerous other acts including Pearl Jam, Dave Grohl and Jeff Beck.

"No" was released as the second single from the album on 2 July 2005, by Epic Records. A Latin pop ballad, it explores a woman's effort in trying to tell her boyfriend that she no longer wants to be involved in a toxic relationship and that separating is best for both.
"Las de la Intuición" is a song by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira from her sixth studio album Fijación Oral Vol. 1 (2005). It was written and produced by the singer as well as co-composed by Luis Fernando Ochoa, with additional production by Lester Mendez. It was sent to Spanish radio stations on 24 February 2007, as the fourth and final single from the album. "Las de la Intuición" is a synth-pop and Euro house track whose lyrics talk about female intuition. It received mostly positive reviews from music critics, who commended its lyrical content and production. The track was a commercial success in Spain, topping the Airplay chart, and entering the top ten on the Downloads and Original Tones charts, all published by the Productores de Música de España (PROMUSICAE). It received a five-times Platinum certification by the organization for 100,000 ringtones sold, and became the song of the summer of the country in 2007. Elsewhere, it entered the charts in Russia and Venezuela.
Oral Fixation Tour was the fourth concert tour by Colombian singer Shakira. It was launched in support of her sixth and seventh studio albums Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 (2005). and Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 (2005). It began on 14 June 2006 at the Feria De Muestras in Zaragoza, Spain. With assistance from the Creative Artists Agency, she visited twenty-seven cities and performed forty-one shows across five continents. The tour was additionally sponsored by Spanish automobile manufacturer SEAT, with whom Shakira also collaborated to support her Pies Descalzos Foundation. The tour concluded on 23 December 2007 in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Loren Gold is an American keyboardist, vocalist, music director, and songwriter. Gold is a keyboardist and vocalist for the Who and Chicago. In addition, Gold has been the touring keyboardist and backup vocalist for Roger Daltrey since 2009. Gold also performs with Rita Wilson and has toured regularly with Don Felder since 2009. Other artists he has toured with include Kenny Loggins, Natalie Maines, and American Idol winner Taylor Hicks. Gold has been musical director for pop stars Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Hilary Duff, and he continues to build and develop bands for other artists. Gold has published two instructional books through his collaboration with Alfred Music, and his original compositions have been featured on HBO and Showtime.
Scott Devours is an American drummer and songwriter based in New York City. Devours has played drums for the post-grunge bands Oleander, IMA Robot and Long Beach bands like Speaker and Shave, worked on over thirty albums and toured with a number of well-known artists, including The Who.
No Plan B, also known as the Roger Daltrey Band, is an English rock band assembled by The Who singer Roger Daltrey to support performances and tours outside The Who. Daltrey's band includes Simon Townshend on guitar and vocals, Frank Simes on lead guitar, Jon Button on bass, Loren Gold on keyboards and Scott Devours on drums. Frank Simes is also musical director for the band. In a 2010 appearance on The Alan Titchmarsh Show, Daltrey called the band No Plan B.
The Who's Tommy Orchestral is a live album by English rock singer Roger Daltrey, performing The Who's 1969 album Tommy alongside members of The Who touring band and a symphony orchestra conducted by Keith Levenson. It was recorded in July 2018 in Bethel, New York, at the site of the original Woodstock festival, during a US tour of the concert. Later, in February 2019, Levenson directed and recorded the Budapest Scoring Orchestra in Budapest with new arrangements from David Campbell, to add a new orchestral backing to the album.
