Jorge Mario Murillo Valdes is a Colombian swimmer. [1] He competed at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships and at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. [1] He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. [2]

Son of Brazilian Olympic sailor Jorge Zarif Neto, after finishing 20th at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Zarif was world champion in both junior and senior levels, winning gold at the 2013 Youth Championship in Cyprus and the 2013 Finn Gold Cup in Estonia. His second Olympic appearance in 2016 had Zarif improve handily, with a fourth place. He returned for his third Olympic appearance at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Estefania Priscila García Mendoza is an Ecuadorian judoka. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she competed in the Women's 63 kg, but was defeated in the second round.

Zou Jingyuan is a Chinese artistic gymnast who specializes on parallel bars and rings. He is the 2020 Olympic Champion and a three-time world champion on parallel bars in 2017, 2018, and 2022. He was a member of the Chinese team that won bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, gold at the 2018 and 2022 World Championships, and bronze at the 2019 World Championships. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is a 2019 sports video game based on the 2020 Summer Olympics. It is the sixth game in the Mario & Sonic series, a crossover between Nintendo's Super Mario and Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog franchises, and the first since the Rio 2016 Olympic Games edition. It was developed and published by Sega for the Nintendo Switch in November 2019 and for arcade cabinets in 2020.

Jorge Adán Cárdenas Estrada is a Mexican weightlifter. He competed in the men's 73 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, where he placed 11th. Cárdenas sparked controversy during the opening ceremony as he removed his face mask to greet a television camera as he walked past it, which led to criticism on social media for allegedly violating the COVID-19 measures put in place for the Games.

Paraguay competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, from 24 August to 5 September 2021. It was the first time that Paraguay had participated in the Paralympic Games. They sent two competitors: T12 runner Melissa Nair Tillner Galeano and S9 swimmer Rodrigo Hermosa. Tillner came last in all three of the races she competed in, but achieved her personal best in all of them. Hermosa came 22nd out of the 25 competitors with a time just under 30 seconds.
