The tournament was scheduled to be held from 15 to 20 November at the Leyes de Reforma Aquatic Center. Open water swimming was scheduled to be held from 21 to 22 November at Regatas Beach.

Swimming at the 2013 SEA Games took place at the Wunna Theikdi Aquatics Centre, Naypyidaw, Myanmar from 12 to 16 December 2013. This Aquatics discipline had 32 long course events: 16 for males and 16 for females.
The swimming competition at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games will be held at the Complejo Acuático Ciudad Merliot in Santa Tecla, El Salvador from 24 to 28 June. Open water swimming events will be held on 5 to 7 July at Lago Ilopango.
