Joseph Oyugi Magwanga is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to the NASA Movement and was elected to represent the Kasipul Kabondo Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. [1] he has been viewed by the constituents as one of the best performing member of parliament.

He ran for a gubernatorial seat in 2017 in Homa Bay county and lost to Awiti Cyprian .

He was involved in a traffic accident in January 2010 in Chepsir, near Kericho, on the way to his home village Wasweta. His wife Judith Atieno died in the accident. [2]

He is the current Deputy Governor for Homabay county following their successful election in 2022 together with Governor Gladys Wanga.[ citation needed ]

Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya is a Kenyan politician who served as the governor of Kakamega County from 2013 to 2022. Peter Anyang' Nyong'o is a Kenyan politician and author who is the Governor of Kisumu County. He is a former Secretary-General of Orange Democratic Movement. Professor Nyong'o was the acting party leader from March 11 until late May when Raila Odinga was in the United States and was elected to the National Assembly of Kenya in the December 2007 parliamentary election, representing the Kisumu Rural Constituency. He was the Minister for Medical Services and previously the Minister for Planning & National Development. He previously served as the Senator of Kisumu from 2013 to 2017.

Hassan Ali Joho is a Kenyan politician and the former Governor of Mombasa County affiliated with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). He was also elected to represent the Kisauni Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya during the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. On 4 March 2013, during the general election, Joho was elected as the first governor of Mombasa County. In the 2017 General Elections held on 8 August, Joho retained his seat on an ODM ticket. Despite significant politically engineered setbacks, Joho emerged triumphant by winning with 220 576 votes against his closest rival Suleiman Shahbal with 69 322 votes, Suleiman is a member of the Jubilee Party. Mutula Kilonzo Jnr. is the current Governor of Makueni County government, Kenya. He is a member and vice chair of the Wiper Democratic Movement, Kenya and was elected as the second Senator of Makueni County Government on the WDM-K ticket in a by-election in July 2013, after the demise of his father lawyer Mutula Kilonzo and is currently serving his second term since his election in August 2017. He was elected as the second Governor for Makueni county in the August 2022 elections and he is now the current governor of Makueni county, having been sworn to the office 25th August 2022.
