Josh Blankenship (born November 13, 1980) is an American football coach and former player. He was the head football coach at Broken Arrow High School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Blankenship served as the head football coach at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado from 2018 until his resignation in January 2021. Blankenship played college football at the University of Tulsa for three years before playing his last year at Eastern Washington University. He is the son of former Tulsa head football coach Bill Blankenship. [1] Blankenship resigned as the Broken Arrow High School Head Football Coach concluding the 2024 season. He finished his four years at the school with an overall record of 20 wins and 26 losses. [2]

Broken Arrow is a city in Tulsa and Wagoner counties in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It is the largest suburb of Tulsa. According to the 2020 census, Broken Arrow has a population of 113,540 residents and is the 4th most populous city in the state. The city is part of the Tulsa Metropolitan Area, which has a population of 1,023,988 residents.
Robert Anthony Stoops is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League (UFL). He was the head football coach at the University of Oklahoma from 1999 through the 2016 season, and on an interim basis during the 2021 Alamo Bowl. He led the Oklahoma Sooners to a record of 191–48 over his career. His 2000 Oklahoma Sooners football team won the 2001 Orange Bowl, which served as the BCS National Championship Game, and earned a consensus national championship. Since 2020, Stoops has been a head coach with the XFL, coaching the Renegades in 2020 and has been re-signed for 2023. Stoops' Renegades won the XFL Championship in 2023.
Joshua Kenneth Heupel is an American college football coach and former player who is the head football coach at the University of Tennessee. Previously he was head coach at the University of Central Florida, where he compiled a 28–8 record.

Johnson was the head football coach at Murray State University from 1997 to 1999 and at Illinois State University from 2000 to 2008, and Missouri Southern State University from 2015 to 2018 compiling a career college football record of 72–99. Formerly, he was the offensive line coach for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane from 2011 to the end of the 2014 season. Johnson was let go when head coach Bill Blankenship was fired on December 1, 2014.
The Adams State Grizzlies football team represents Adams State University in college football at the NCAA Division II level. The Grizzlies are members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), fielding its team in the RMAC since 1957. The Grizzlies play their home games at Rex Stadium in Alamosa, Colorado. The team was formally known as the Adams State Indians.
