Jowzar-e Bakesh (Persian : جوزاربكش‎, also Romanized as Jowzār-e Bakesh and Jūzār Bakesh)^[1] is a village in Jowzar Rural District, in the Central District of Mamasani County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 803, in 151 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Jowzar Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Mamasani County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,521, in 1,843 families. The rural district has 49 villages.

The District has two cities: Nurabad and Khumeh Zar.
