Sar Rud (Persian : سررود‎, also Romanized as Sar Rūd)^[1] is a village in Doshman Ziari Rural District, Doshman Ziari District, Mamasani County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 268, in 56 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Doshman Ziari Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Doshman Ziari District, Mamasani County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,944, in 1,254 families. The rural district has 30 villages.

Doshman Ziari District is a district (bakhsh) in Mamasani County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,196, in 2,526 families. The District has no cities. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Doshman Ziari Rural District and Mashayekh Rural District.
