K. P. Rajendran (born 3 November 1954) is an Indian politician, State Executive Member of Communist Party of India, and National Working Committee Member of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC). He was the Minister for Revenue and Land Reforms in the Left Democratic Front government under V. S. Achuthanandan from 2006-2011. [1] He represented the Kodungallur constituency in Thrissur district in the Kerala Legislative Assembly from 2006 to 2011. [2]
Born on 3 November 1954 to K. P. Prabhakaran and K. R. Karthiyani at Thrissur in Kerala, he studied in (Govt. college, Thrissur) Sri C. Achutha Menon Government College, Thrissur, and Sree Narayana College, Nattika. Rajendran holds a B.A. degree and LLB degree from Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. Before entering into politics he was a student leader and trade union worker. Rajendran was previously elected to Kerala Legislative Assembly in 1996 and 2001. [3]
Kannoth Karunakaran was an Indian politician and member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He served as the Chief Minister of Kerala four times during the late 1970s through the mid 1990s. He is the founder of the United Democratic Front (UDF), which is a political alliance in Kerala led by INC.
Chelat Achutha Menon was the Chief Minister of Kerala state for two terms. The first term was from 1 November 1969 to 1 August 1970 and the second 4 October 1970 to 25 March 1977. He was instrumental in starting number of institutions and development projects in Kerala. Achutha Menon was the first politician who adorned the chief ministership of Kerala for two consecutive terms. He led the then United Front to a thumping electoral victory in Kerala when Congress party was routed in elections in other parts of India.

St. Thomas' College (Autonomous), Thrissur is a government aided college located in Thrissur, Kerala, India. It is founded by Mar Adolph Medlycott in 1889. It is the oldest college in the Erstwhile Princely State of Cochin and present day Thrissur district. It is the second private college to be recognised as a first grade college under the University of Madras. It is the first Catholic college in Kerala and is conducted by the Syro-Malabar Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur.

Kannoth Muraleedharan is an Indian National Congress (INC) politician from Kerala, the son of eminent congress leader K. Karunakaran. He was elected as member of the Lok Sabha thrice from the Kozhikode constituency, subsequently leaving the party in 2005. For a while he had joined NCP of Sharad Pawar. Then he rejoined Congress. He was elected as the Chairman of KPCC Campaign committee in September 2018. He entered 17th Lok Sabha by winning from the Vatakara in 2019 general elections.

K. P. Prabhakaran was a communist politician and trade unionist from Kerala, India. He was a senior leader of the Communist Party of India, served as Health Minister of Kerala for one period. At the time of his death, he was the chairman of the State Control Commission of CPI.
P. C. Chacko is a former Member of Parliament from Thrissur Lok Sabha seat in Kerala. He is a former member of the Indian National Congress. Chacko resigned from Indian National Congress on 10 March 2021, stating that it had become difficult to be a congress leader in Kerala. P.C. He was elected to Loksabha in 1991 from Thrissur, in 1996 from Mukundapuram, in 1998 from Idukki and in 2009 again from Thrissur. On 2021 March 16 he joined Nationalist Congress Party, which is an ally of LDF in Kerala. He was appointed President of the Kerala State Unit of Nationalist Congress Party by the National President Sri. Sharad Pawar on 19 May 2021.
P. K. Gurudasan is an Indian politician, trade unionist, and a member of Communist Party of India (Marxist). He was the Minister for Excise, Labour and Employment in the Government of Kerala headed by VS Achuthanandan between 2006 and 2011. He represented Kollam Assembly constituency in the Kerala Legislative Assembly from 2006 to 2016. He is also the State President of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) and a member of Central Committee of CPI(M). Gurudasan earlier served as the General Secretary of Kerala State unit of CITU.
