History

KCCR-FM first signed on the air on June 13, 2014. [4] [5] The station is licensed to Blunt but serves the greater Pierre market with a strong signal. [6]

The station is owned by Riverfront Broadcasting LLC, a company that also owns KCCR (AM) and KLXS-FM in the Pierre area. Riverfront Broadcasting is noted for bringing the only locally owned radio stations to the Pierre market after acquiring the cluster in 2008. [7]
