Kadijan (Persian : كاديجان‎, also Romanized as Kādījān)^[1] is a village in Aghmiyun Rural District, in the Central District of Sarab County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,251, in 321 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Aghmiyun Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Sarab County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,481, in 2,635 families. The rural district has 19 villages.

The District has one city: Sarab.
