Kališovec (pronounced [kaˈliːʃɔʋəts] ) is a settlement west of Senovo in the Municipality of Krško in eastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. [2]

It developed into a large settlement after its brown coal mine began to operate in 1839, but especially in the early 20th century. The mine closed in the second half of the 1990s.
