Kampong Kembangan Constituency was a single member constituency in Kembangan, Singapore. In the early days from the 1959, this ward was created for the Kampong Kembangan after the dissolution of Ulu Bedok Constituency. It was subsequently merged into Aljunied Group Representation Constituency

Note 1: In 1957, Singapore Malay Union (SMU) was expelled by its alliance partners consisted of UMNO and MCA for fielding a candidate in that by-election which was the reason for the elections department of Singapore to view Fatimah as another independent candidate.
Note 2: UMNO, MCA and MIC together with Singapore People's Alliance was informally formed as an alliance in 1961, where it still within this term of election which was the reason for the elections department of Singapore to view Mohammed Ali as a candidate for Singapore Alliance.
General elections were held in Singapore on 21 September 1963, five days after Singapore became part of Malaysia. Voters elected all 51 members of the Legislative Assembly. The elections were the only ones to date with no boundary changes to any existing constituencies prior to the elections. The result was a victory for the People's Action Party (PAP), which won 37 of the 51 seats, while the majority of the remaining seats were won by Barisan Sosialis (BS).

General elections were held in Singapore on 7 May 2011. President S. R. Nathan dissolved parliament on 19 April 2011 on the advice of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Voting is mandatory in Singapore and is based on the first-past-the-post system. Elections are conducted by the Elections Department, which is under the jurisdiction of the Prime Minister's Office. Nomination day was held on 27 April 2011, and for the second election in a row, the PAP did not return to government on nomination day, but it did return to government on polling day. This election also marked the first and the only three-cornered fight since 2001 in Punggol East SMC.
A by-election was held on 29 June 1957, with nomination day occurring on 18 May 1957 in the Cairnhill, and Tanjong Pagar constituency. When talks with the British authorities for self-governance broke down, Chief Minister David Marshall decided to resign from the Labour Front on 7 June 1956. Marshall had also challenged opposition leader Lee Kuan Yew from the People's Action Party to resign and recontest his Tanjong Pagar constituency as well, which he did.

Kampong Glam Single Member Constituency was a single member constituency (SMC) in Kampong Glam, Singapore. It existed as Kampong Glam Constituency from 1959 to 1988 then it was renamed as Kampong Glam Single Member Constituency during political reform in 1988. Once a small constituency with no more than ca. 9,000 registered voters, Kampong Glam constituency voters rose immediately in 1976 with at least 16,000 voters turned out to polling places. The numbers never went down ever since.
