The Kandy Falcons (abbreviated as KF) is a franchise cricket team which competes in 2022 Lanka Premier League. [1] The team is based in Kandy, Central Province, Sri Lanka. In November 2022, Kandy Falcons changed their name to Kandy Falcons. [2] The team was captained by Wanindu Hasaranga and coached by Piyal Wijetunge. [3]

The team remained under the captaincy of Pakistani cricketer, Shahid Afridi, for the first three matches. However, due to an emergency, the captain left the league for the remaining matches of the tournament, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa assumed the captaincy.
