The Kanpur Lucknow Roadways Service is a bus service operated by Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, connecting its legislative capital Lucknow with the industrial capital at Kanpur.
A wide variety of bus services are provided, including Ordinary buses, as well as air conditioned services using buses from Sheetal, Shatabdi and Volvo. [1] The company also offers a sleeper bus service.
Lucknow and Kanpur are 82 kilometres (51 mi) apart by road and 72 kilometres (45 mi) by train, making it competitive for the bus service to provide service using a variety of buses and routes. Service between the two cities runs every 5 to 10 minutes at peak times. The outward and return fares for the under two hour journey differ by the route taken.

Old National Highway 2 or Old NH 2, was a major National Highway in India, that connected the states of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. It constitutes a major portion of the historical Grand Trunk Road along with old NH 91 and old NH 1 in India. Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Prani Udyan earlier known as Prince of Wales Zoological Gardens or popularly known as Lucknow Zoological Garden is a 71.6-acre (29.0 ha) zoo located in the heart of the capital city of Uttar Pradesh named after Wajid Ali Shah- the last Nawab of Awadh. Lucknow–Kanpur Suburban Railway System is a commuter rail service operated by Northern Railways, North Central Railway and North Eastern Railway to connect administrative capital Lucknow with the economic and industrial capital Kanpur of the state Uttar Pradesh. These services are mostly run using EMU and MEMU rakes. However it does not have dedicated suburban tracks but share the tracks with long distance trains. It is fondly called LC meaning Lucknow Cawnpore.
Mandhana is a town in the Kanpur district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, situated about 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Kanpur on the Grand Trunk Road to Delhi. As of the 2011 Census of India, the town had 213 households with a population of 993 of which 504 were male and 489 female. It has a 60% literacy rate and is 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Chobepur, its sister town. It also falls within the Kanpur metropolitan area.
