Katherine "Kathy" Kelemen (born 27 June 1966) is a Canadian diver. She competed in the women's 10 metre platform event at the 1984 Summer Olympics [1] and won bronze medals in each of the 1982 and 1986 Commonwealth Games.
In November 1980, Kelemen was living in Richmond, British Columbia and by that time was being considered as among the province's top divers, having been victorious in her age category as well as the women's open events. Her highest score recorded was 397.25 in the 3-metre dives, which was comparable to the Olympic standard of 400 points. [2] During the 1981 Canada Games, Kelemen won various events including the 1 and 3 metre springboard event. Former diver Irene MacDonald believed in 1981 that "she'll be world class, she really will be", describing her as a "coach's dream" due to her serious nature in wanting to train and undertake the difficult dives. [3] In 1983, she was a member of the University of Calgary diving club and won three events at the invitational competition for the Pan American Games in Winnipeg, taking 1st place in three springboard dives which included two 1-metre and a 3-metre dive. [4] In March 1985, she won the women's 10 metre platform dive event at the senior Winter National Diving Championships with a score of 531.96. [5]
Kelemen was born in Czechoslovakia and has lived in Australia and Ontario, Canada. [3]
Blythe Hartley is a Canadian Olympic diver. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta and began diving at age 12.
Émilie-Joane Heymans is a Canadian diver. She was born in Brussels, Belgium and raised in Greenfield Park, a suburb of Montreal. Heymans has won four Olympic medals, two bronze and two silver. She was the first female diver to win medals in four consecutive Olympic games and the first Canadian to win medals in four consecutive Olympics. Heymans also is a one time world champion and has won four Pan American championships as well as one Commonwealth Games championship. In addition she has won multiple medals in all three of these competitions.
Alexandre Despatie OLY is a Canadian diver and broadcaster from Laval, Quebec. He was the world champion at the 1 and 3 m springboards from 2005 to 2007 and is the first, and so far only, diver to have been world champion in all three individual categories. He is also a 37-time Canadian senior diving champion and nine-time junior champion, and the most decorated male diver in Canadian history, winning two Olympic silver medals and reaching eight podiums at the world championships, including three gold medals. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Megan Neyer is an American former competition springboard and platform diver. Neyer was a member of the ill-fated 1980 U.S. Olympic team, the 1982 world champion springboard diver, a fifteen-time U.S. national diving champion, and an eight-time NCAA champion.
Jennifer Abel is a Canadian former diver. She is currently partnered with Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu for synchronized diving. She won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 3 m synchro diving event with Émilie Heymans and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the same event with Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu. Abel is a four-time Commonwealth Games champion in the 1 m and 3 m synchronized springboard; and is also a three-time Pan American Games champion in the 3 m springboard and 3 m synchronized springboard. Her ten medals at the FINA World Championships are a record for most medals by a Canadian in diving at the world championships.
Cynthia "Cindy" Shatto was a Canadian diver. She won a gold medal in the 1974 British Commonwealth Games 3 metre springboard event and competed in the women's 10 metre platform event at the 1976 Summer Olympics, where she finished fifth following controversy over the judges' scoring.

He also competed at the 1982 and 1986 Commonwealth Games, as well as the 1983, 1985 and 1987 Summer Universiades. In 2002, Hirst was inducted into the University of Toronto Sports Hall of Fame.
Linda Cuthbert is a Canadian former diver and present sports director of Commonwealth Sport Canada since 2006, having also served as a technical official for several commonwealth games. During her diving career, Cuthbert won a bronze medal in each of the 1975 and 1979 Pan American Games platform diving events, as well as a gold medal in the 1978 Commonwealth Games 10 metre highboard event. Cuthbert began diving at age 10 and started to take it seriously in 1967, when she had a series of different coaches until settling with Don Webb, who became her permanent coach.
Jennifer McArton is a former Canadian diver. During the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, she won a silver medal in the women's 10 metre highboard event.
Margo Claire Erlam is a Canadian diver in the springboard events. Erlam is currently based out of and trains at the Saskatoon Diving Club.
