Mohamed Farveez Maharoof,or Farveez Maharoof,is a Sri Lankan former professional cricketer,who played Tests and ODIs. He first made his impression in the 2004 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in which he captained the Sri Lankan team. He enjoyed a prolific school career for Wesley College,with a highest score of 243 and best bowling figures of 8 for 20. An all-rounder,he made his Test debut in 2004. He was part of the Sri Lankan team which finished as runners-up at the 2007 Cricket World Cup.
Timothy Grant Southee,is a New Zealand international cricketer who has captained New Zealand cricket team in all formats of the game. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and a hard-hitting lower order batsman. The third New Zealand bowler to take 300 Test wickets,he was one of the country's youngest cricketers,debuting at the age of 19 in February 2008. On his Test debut against England he took 5 wickets and made 77 off 40 balls in the second innings. He plays for Northern Districts in the Plunket Shield,Ford Trophy and Super Smash as well as Northland in the Hawke Cup. He was named as New Zealand's captain for the first T20I against West Indies in place of Kane Williamson,who was rested for that game. The Blackcaps won that match by 47 runs. Southee was a member of the New Zealand team that won the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship. Southee currently has the highest (international) test batting strike rate among the batsmen with a minimum of 2000 test runs. His (batting) career strike rate is 83.12. He was also a part of the New Zealand squads to finish as runners-up in two Cricket World Cup finals in 2015 and 2019.
Angelo Davis Mathews is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and a former captain of the national cricket team in all formats. Mathews plays all formats for Sri Lanka. Mathews was a member of the team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 and was part of the team that made the finals of 2011 Cricket World Cup,2009 ICC World Twenty20 and 2012 ICC World Twenty20. Mathews and Lasith Malinga hold the record for the highest ninth wicket partnership in ODI cricket.
Balapuwaduge Manukulasuriya Amith Jeevan Mendis is a former Sri Lankan professional cricketer,who played limited over internationals. An all-rounder who bowls leg spin,Mendis has represented Sri Lanka in the 2012 World Twenty20 and 2015 World Cup. Domestically,he plays for Tamil Union in Sri Lanka,and he has also played for Derbyshire in England during 2017. Mendis announced his retirement from international cricket on 28 December 2021 and migrated to Australia.
Ranasinghe Arachchige Suranga Lakmal is a former professional Sri Lankan cricketer,who played in all formats of the game and is a former Test cricket captain. He is a right-arm fast bowler and right-handed batsman. He started his cricket life in Debarawewa National School,Tissamaharama. He was first included in the national squad for the tour of Pakistan in 2008-2009 and was reported to have been injured in the attack on the Sri Lankan team by terrorists.
Kande Arachchige Isuru Udana Tillakaratna is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who represented Sri Lanka internationally in limited over formats. He currently plays domestic cricket for Tamil Union and Wayamba. Primarily a left arm fast bowler,Udana evolved as an all-rounder in late 2018. On 31 July 2021,Udana announced his retirement from international cricket.

Mathurage Don Kusal Janith Perera,is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer currently plays limited overs cricket and a former ODI cricket captain. He was a key member of the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 winning team.

Karan K.C. is a Nepalese professional cricketer. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match,against the Netherlands in August 2018. Kariyawasam Indipalage Charith Asalanka is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer who currently serves as the captain of the national team in white-ball formats of T20I and ODI. An aggressive left-handed batsman and trusted batter in the number five middle order batting position,who bowls part time handy off spin. He only played sixteen first-class matches before playing for the national side. In November 2017,he was named the One Day International (ODI) batsman of the year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.
Pinnaduwage Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva,better known as Wanindu Hasaranga,is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who currently plays limited over internationals and a former T20I captain. He plays for the Sri Lanka cricket team in white ball cricket as a Bowling All rounder.
Malmeege Amila Aponso,or Amila Aponso is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer,who played for the Sri Lanka cricket team. He played first-class cricket for Ragama Cricket Club. He is a past pupil of St. Sebastians College,Moratuwa. In June 2021,Aponso moved to the United States to play in the Minor League Cricket tournament.
Pathum Nissanka Silva is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for Sri Lanka in all three formats of the game. He made his international debut for the Sri Lanka cricket team in March 2021 and is currently the permanent opening batsman. On 9 February 2024,Nissanka scored an ODI double hundred,becoming the first Sri Lankan to achieve the feat.
