Keith M. Ingram (born April 12,1955) is an American politician from the state of Arkansas. A member of the Democratic Party,Ingram represents the 24th district in the Arkansas Senate,of which he is the Minority Leader. Ingram's district includes Crittenden County and parts of Cross,Lee,Phillips and St. Francis counties in eastern Arkansas.
He previously represented the 53rd district in the Arkansas House of Representatives for from January 2009 –January 2013 and served as mayor of West Memphis,Arkansas.
While he was Senator-elect,Ingram was selected as the Democrats' Minority Leader to succeed the party's former Majority Leader Robert F. Thompson of Paragould in Greene County in northeastern Arkansas. [1] [2] He considered running for Governor of Arkansas,in the 2014 election,when the incumbent Democrat Mike Beebe was term-limited but did not file for the higher office. [3]
Ingram is a member of National Conference of State Legislatures,the Council of State Governments and the Southern Legislative Conference. With NCSL,he serves on the Law &Criminal Justice Standing Committee and sits on the Annual Meeting Committee for CSG. In addition to serving as 2014 chairman of the Southern Legislative Conference,he sits on the Energy &Environment Committee.
Ingram currently serves as vice president of Razorback Concrete Company,a family-owned business in West Memphis.
Ingram's father,William K. Ingram,was an Arkansas state senator from 1963 until 1981,while his brother,Kent Ingram,served for nine years in the state Senate. [2]
The Minnesota Senate is the upper house of the Legislature of the U.S. state of Minnesota. At 67 members,half as many as the Minnesota House of Representatives,it is the largest upper house of any U.S. state legislature. Floor sessions are held in the west wing of the State Capitol in Saint Paul. Committee hearings,as well as offices for senators and staff,are located north of the State Capitol in the Minnesota Senate Building. Byron M. Baer was an American Democratic Party politician from New Jersey who served in both houses of the New Jersey Legislature. He served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 1972 to 1993 and in the State Senate from 1994 to 2005,where he represented the 37th Legislative District. In the early 1970s,Baer was the primary author of the Open Public Records Act,New Jersey's Sunshine Law,and was an advocate of open government throughout his legislative career.
Samuel D. Thompson is an American politician and scientist who served in the New Jersey Senate from 2012 to 2024,representing the 12th Legislative district. Before redistricting in 2011,he served in the General Assembly from 1998 to 2012,representing the 13th district.

The Nevada Senate is the upper house of the Nevada Legislature,the state legislature of U.S. state of Nevada,the lower house being the Nevada Assembly. It currently (2012–2021) consists of 21 members from single-member districts. In the previous redistricting (2002–2011) there were 19 districts,two of which were multimember. Since 2012,there have been 21 districts,each formed by combining two neighboring state assembly districts. Each state senator represented approximately 128,598 as of the 2010 United States census. Article Four of the Constitution of Nevada sets that state senators serve staggered four-year terms.

There are 50 seats in the Iowa Senate,representing 50 single-member districts across the state of Iowa with populations of approximately 60,927 per constituency,as of the 2010 United States census. Each Senate district is composed of two House districts. The Senate meets at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines.
Troy Dale Jackson is an American logger and politician from Allagash,Maine who served as president of the Maine Senate. Jackson represents Senate District 1,representing northern Aroostook County,including the towns of Fort Kent,Madawaska and Caribou. Jackson served as Senate President from 2018 to 2024.
Larry R. Teague is a former American politician and was a Democratic member of the Arkansas Senate representing District 10,which includes Howard,Montgomery,Pike,and Polk counties and parts of Clark,Hempstead,Nevada,and Sevier counties. He also served as Senate Minority Whip. He was ineligible to seek re-election in 2022 due to term limits. Teague served consecutively in the Arkansas General Assembly from January 2009 until January 2013 in the Senate District 20 seat and from January 1997 through January 2002 in the Arkansas House of Representatives District 19 seat.
