Kenneth Lee Chastain (born October 15, 1964, Hanover, New Hampshire) is a musician, engineer, and producer currently living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. [1] He is featured on percussion on Ziggy Marley's Love Is My Religion album and many other well-known artists' works. [2] Chastain also composes, produces, engineers, and mixes for TV and film projects, most notably the movie Sweet Land .
Chastain was born in New Hampshire, and lived in France and Morocco with his Peace Corps parents before moving to Minnesota. He played Suzuki cello and was a soloist in the Metropolitan Boys Choir in the Twin Cities. He went on to the University of Minnesota and the Berklee College of Music in Boston to study music, audio engineering and film scoring.
He plays bass, guitar, keyboards, trumpet, harmonica, Chapman Stick, theremin, and percussion. [3]

As head of audio post-production at Pixel Farm Minneapolis, and chief engineer and composer for Pixel Farm Music, Ken Chastain scores music, sound designs, and mixes award-winning television commercials and films. Recent award-winning commercials include Garmin's Super Bowl XLII offering “Napoleon” and United Airlines' "Dragon".

University of Northwestern (UNW) is a private Christian university in Roseville, Minnesota.

Republic Airlines was an airline in the United States that operated from 1979 until it merged with Northwest Airlines in 1986. Republic was formed by the merger of North Central Airlines and Southern Airways on July 1, 1979. Their headquarters were at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, in what is now Fort Snelling in unincorporated Hennepin County, Minnesota. The former headquarters is now Delta Air Lines Building C.
Love Is My Religion is Ziggy Marley's second solo album, the first being Dragonfly, after the 2000 end of Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers. The album was released on 2 July 2006 by father Bob Marley's label Tuff Gong Worldwide, and carries on his reggae-style pop sound and lyrical themes established in Dragonfly. Love Is My Religion was named the 2007 Best Reggae album for the 49th Grammy awards held in Los Angeles in 2007.

LA ink is a design firm established in 1987 and based in Minneapolis, MN. Most notable for their pioneering work in large scale printed murals and achievement recognition installations. Some key examples of their work are the SEGD 2007 Honor Award / AIA MN Award winning "Wall of Discovery" and the Northwest Airlines hangar mural at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. At the time, the largest printed graphic in North America at 11,000 sq ft (1,000 m2). until the hangar was torn down in 2004 for airport expansion.
Brandon Dickerson is an American writer, director, and producer whose work includes film, music video, documentary film, and television commercials. He made his feature film directorial debut with the 2011 feature film Sironia, which won the Audience Award at the 2011 Austin Film Festival in October 2011 before its release through Filmbuff. His second feature film as writer-director, Victor, is set for release in 2017 as is his documentary film A Single Frame.
Northwest Orient Airlines Flight 307 was a scheduled international flight with several domestic legs in the United States with the routing Washington, DC–Pittsburgh-Cleveland-Detroit–Madison–Rochester–Minneapolis-St. Paul–Winnipeg. On Tuesday, March 7, 1950, a Martin 2-0-2, registered N93050, was operating the flight when it collided with a flagpole at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on approach to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. During an attempt to make an emergency landing, a section of the left wing departed the aircraft, rendering it uncontrollable and causing it to crash into the Doughty family house in the Lynnhurst neighborhood of Minneapolis. All three crew members and ten passengers on board were killed, as were two children, Janet and Tom Doughty, and the family dog inside the house.

Glenn Rosenstein is an American record producer, engineer, sound mixer and guitarist based in Muscle Shoals, AL, who engineered and produced many albums including the Grammy-winning One Bright Day by Ziggy Marley. Rosenstein worked at New York City's Sigma Sound Studios in the 1980s. He owns and runs Skylight Studio.
Punchinello Players, founded in 1914, was a theatre organization of the University of Minnesota. When it closed it was the second oldest student-run community theater in the U.S. Punchinello - located on the St. Paul campus - originated for the purpose of improving the lives of the greater community. As a university-associated theater it changed with the times and continued to explore and interrogate the human condition. Punchinello Players closed in 1994 due primarily to its home, North Hall, being slated for demolition.
