Kenia Guadalupe Flores Osuna (born 15 July 1999), known professionally as Kenia Os, is a Mexican singer-songwriter and businesswoman. She began her career as a YouTube personality, uploading vlogs regularly. She uploaded her first video in 2015, joined a larger team of YouTubers, and in May 2018, Os resumed her career independently. [2]

Contents

In August 2018 Os signed with label "Lizos Music" and released her debut single, "Por Siempre". [3] After two years under this label, she began releasing music independently. [4] A few months later, she signed with Sony Music Mexico and released her first studio album Cambios de Luna (2022) [5] She has had appearances on streaming platform shows such as HBO Max's Bake Off Celebrity: Mexico, [6] in which she was a contestant on the show, sharing the screen with celebrities such as Yuri, Lorena Herrera and Omar Fierro. Also, in 2021 she hosted the MTV Millennial Awards with Kali Uchis. [7]

Career

In 2015 she created her first YouTube channel and some time later joined the Jukilop group of YouTubers. [8] Given that she was offered to sign a contract that did not benefit her and other disagreements, in 2018 she left the group. Due to the previous contract, Os's social networks were deleted because they were no longer her property. After that, controversy and rivalry would arise among YouTubers, which increased her popularity. [9] [10]
