The Kerala Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actor is an award presented annually at the Kerala Film Critics Association Awards. It is given in honour of a male actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a supporting role in a Malayalam film. The award was instituted in 2019 and succeeded the Kerala Film Critics Association Award for Second Best Actor which was awarded between the years 1979 and 2018. [1]

Perumbadavam Sreedharan is a Malayalam author from Kerala, India. He is former Chairman of Kerala Sahitya Akademi. He has written several novels and short stories. One of his best known novels is Oru Sankeerthanam Pole (1993) for which he won the Vayalar Award in 1996. He got Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for his novel Ashtapadi. In 2006, he was awarded the Malayattoor Award for his novel, Narayanam.

Manju Pillai is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam films and television shows. She is best known for portraying comedic roles, but has also played character roles. She has won the Kerala State Television Award for Kerala State Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in two consecutive years. In 2007, she played one of the female lead roles in Adoor Gopalakrishnan's drama film Naalu Pennungal. Manju is the granddaughter of Malayalam film actor S. P. Pillai. Manju received huge acclaim for her performance in the 2021 film Home.
