The Khanna clan originates from the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent.

Origin

According to tradition, Khannas are descendants of a common ancestor named Khan Chand. [3] [4] The Khanna clan is named after Khan Chand. [4] According to legend, Khan Chan, founder of the Khatri Khanna clan, Mehr Chand, founder of the Khatri Malhotra clan, and Kapur Chand, founder of the Khatri Kapoor clan, attended the Mughal Emperor Akbar's court together. [4]
