Kharashtom (Persian : خرشتم‎, also Romanized as Khareshtom)^[1] is a village in Amlash-e Shomali Rural District, in the Central District of Amlash County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 626, in 205 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Amlash-e Shomali Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Amlash County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,085, in 2,466 families. The rural district has 25 villages.

The Central District of Amlash County is a district (bakhsh) in Amlash County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 29,716, in 8,603 families. The District has one city: Amlash. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Amlash-e Jonubi Rural District and Amlash-e Shomali Rural District.
