Sukhteh Kish (Persian : سوخته كيش‎, also Romanized as Sūkhteh Kīsh; also known as Sūkhteh Kesh)^[1] is a village in Shabkhus Lat Rural District, Rankuh District, Amlash County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 441, in 119 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Shabkhus Lat Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Rankuh District, Amlash County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,201, in 3,085 families. The rural district has 35 villages.

Rankuh District is a district (bakhsh) in Amlash County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,392, in 4,619 families. The District has one city: Rankuh.
