Kharuzan (Persian : خروزان‎, also Romanized as Kharūzān)^[1] is a village in Ak Rural District, Esfarvarin District, Takestan County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 494, in 114 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Ak Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Esfarvarin District, Takestan County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,484, in 834 families. The rural district has 10 villages.
