Yazdeh Rud (Persian : يزده رود‎, also Romanized as Yazdeh Rūd, Yazdakhrud, and Yezdehrūd; also known as Yazdrūd)^[1] is a village in Qaqazan-e Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Takestan County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 170, in 50 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Qaqazan-e Gharbi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Takestan County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,332, in 1,805 families. The rural district has 18 villages.

The Central District of Takestan County is a district (bakhsh) in Takestan County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 99,841, in 24,971 families.
